Watercolor, Oil and Coffee Painting
Pornchai Lerttamasiri, born in 1963, is a native of Ayutthaya. He specializes in watercolor, oil and other special mediums, such as coffee in the painting. Pornchai teaches classes and exhibits his work extensively. His had over 20 exhibitions in watercolor, coffee painting and oil. Most notably, in September 1999 in which his coffee painting were displayed at the exhibition in Portland, Oregon, USA at the Asian Art Gallery. Later in Thailand, Pornchai and a group of Thai artists painted lives and scenes on Chao Praya River in Bangkok.
Pornchai’s creative approach of using coffee in painting, which he has explored for over 15 years, sets him apart from other artists.
Pornchai loves to paint “en plain air” that he can capture the spirit and beauty of the lights, colors and events, then expressed them in his paintings.
