Pornchai Lerttamasiri, born in 1963, is a native of Ayutthaya. He specializes in watercolor and other special mediums, such as coffee, in the painting. Pornchai teaches classes and exhibits his work extensively. His had over 20 exhibitions in watercolor, coffee painting and oil. Most notably, in September 1999 in which his coffee painting were displayed, the exhibitions in Portland, Oregon, USA at the Asian Art Gallery in 1999 and 2000. Later in Thailand, he and a group of Thai artist had painted a series depicting lives and scences on Chao Praya River in Bangkok.
Pornchai's creative approach of using coffee in painting, which he has explored for over 15 years, sets him apart from other artists. He loves to paint "en plein air" - captures the spirit and beauty of the light, color, and events expressed in his paintings.
